End of Life

Palliative Care
If you have been given a diagnosis that you are battling to understand, hypnosis may assist you in finding peace and making the transition easier for you.

In general, we don’t deal well with death and being diagnosed with a fatal disease can lead to anxiety, depression, emotional distress and negative emotions.

Hypnotherapy can be used during this period of time for healing.

In trance, your inhibitions and defences are lowered so that you can speak your truth to your loved ones or those you have unfinished business with.  Within the privacy of the sessions you can fully express your emotions and allow your body to “let go” of any and all pent up emotional stress.

Guilt that you may be harbouring for any perceived wrong doings during your lifetime can be released.  Most people when facing the end of life are ready to die but cannot let go, often due to guilt which can result in self-punishment and prolonged and unnecessary suffering.

This therapy can also help strengthen the spiritual or religious connection that you or your loved one may already have.  To fear death, is to misunderstand life.

“For life and death are one, even as the river and the sea are one.” – Khalil Gibran
